Pursuant to Resolution No. 1/2016 of the Interministerial Team for lifelong learning and the Integrated Qualifications System, from 1 October 2016, the Minister of National Education acts as the Coordination Point for Polish Qualifications Framework.

The objectives of the Point include:

• relating qualification levels within National Qualifications Systems to the levels of the European Qualifications Framework,
• ensuring the use of a transparent methodology for establishing references between national qualifications levels and the European Qualifications Framework,
• providing interested parties with access to information and guidance on how national qualifications relate to the European Qualifications Framework through National Qualifications Systems,
• supporting the participation of all interested parties including, in accordance with national legislation and practice, higher education and vocational education and training institutions, social partners, sectors and experts in the field of comparison and use of qualifications at the European level
